Hi, my name is Kris. I teach online piano lessons for beginners, experienced players, songwriters, producers, and anyone who wants to understand music more deeply.

Welcome to my online classroom

As a lifelong student of music, I know how overwhelming the subject can be. I came up through classical piano lessons, and while I learned how to read notes and move my fingers around the instrument, no one really taught me how music was written or how to make the piano feel like my own creative voice.

To get over that barrier, I jammed with other musicians, studied theory, practiced constantly, wrote music, listened obsessively, and slowly learned how to play in a way that felt more authentic and uninhibited.

That experience shapes the way I teach. We won’t just learn what notes to play. We’ll break music down so you understand why it works, how it feels, and how to use those ideas in your own playing.

Together, we’ll develop your sense of rhythm, melody, harmony, technique, and musical confidence so that you can sit down at the piano and truly express yourself.
