Lately I’ve been experimenting with the short form nature of Tik Tok//Instagram Reels

Impressionist piano compositions:

I’ve always loved the impressionist piano composers like Debussy and Satie and finally sat down to try writing a few original pieces in those styles. I’m hoping to write more eventually. You can find the audio here.

Beethoven Sonata Pathétique

I don’t get the chance to dig into classical work too much these days, but every so often I like to brush one off, like this - probably my favorite Beethoven Sonata.

Jazz Standards: nardis & I don’t want to set the world on fire

I love improvising so much, and the breadth of styles jazz encompasses…these are two of my favorites I’ve been soloing around lately. They don’t really go together but juxtaposition is another favorite of mine ;)

Suasana - ambient cinematic duo project

Big rock bands:

I’ve cut a lot of my chops in rock settings; this song is part of an EP I put out with the band Bug Séance last year, available here. That’s me on the piano ;)

ambient sound experiments:

One thing I love about music and sound in general is the possibilities for storytelling…these were some sound collages and instrumentals from an old album

Bedroom pop beats:

This is some new territory I’m excited to explore further…bedroom pop is one of my most favorite new styles, and I’ve been having a lot of fun when I get the chance to try my hand at these. I had these on this demo release.

sci-fi soundtrack:

At some point I’d like to dig into a soundtrack for an indie sci-fi or outrun videogame or movie. Here’s a few demos I did in that style, more available here.
